Today, I am celebrating my 21st birthday, and I am very thankful because God has blessed me with another year to live. I know I am very blessed because not everyone is given the chance to live this long.
For the past 20 years, my life's like a roller coaster ride. It has it's own up's and down's. I am very thankful that in every downfall, I can stand up again, stronger than I was.
Now that I am given the chance to live another year, I'll make sure that there'll be no time to be wasted. I am going to face this new chapter of my life with a smile and I'll be stronger and braver. I'll try my very best to be more than what and who I am today.
There's so much more to be thankful for. God knows how grateful I am for everything that I have right now.
To my family, thank you isn't enough for me to say. I know I'm not perfect but still, you made me feel that I am loved. Thank you for giving me everything. Thank you for the love and support. Thank you for being understanding despite the fact that I am very stubborn and hard-headed. Thank you for spoiling me. Thank you for loving me in every way that you guys can. Without you by my side, I'm not here and who I am today is because of you. There's one thing that I am sure of, Someday, I will make you guys proud of me.
To my bestfriends and friends, thank you for being there for me, always. You've seen me at my worst and still, you guys are there for me. You've been there for me ever since. You're more than a sister/brother and a friend to me. You guys are one of the reason why I'm still holding on. I know I'm not a perfect friend, I am very stubborn and demanding at times, but still, you make it up to a point where you can listen to my never ending dilemmas in life. God gave me someone that I can lean on to everytime I feel down. He gave me a gift where I can treasure forever. Thank you.
Most especially, I want to thank GOD for the continues blessings that He's giving me. He really knows what and how to make me happy. I thank Him for the struggles that made me stronger. For the hardships that made me realize a lot of things and for the never ending strength that He's giving me to face life every now and then. Papa God, thank You. I know there are times that I disobey you, but still, You never fail to forgive me. Papa God, all I ask is for You to give me strength to face this life that You have given me. I want to ask for wisdom to know and to understand what is Your will to me. Papa God, I lift everything up to You. You are my strength, my refuge and best friend. I love you forever and always..
